Key to our success has been the strength of our multi-disciplinary teams. The senior team comprises highly qualified Investment and Development Surveyors and Project Managers, each of whom have over 20 years experience in real estate.
Ian Barnett FRICS
Managing Director
Ian qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1976 and became a Fellow of The R.I.C.S. in 1988 before attending Harvard Business School in 1989 where he obtained a PMD.
Ian joined the P&O Group in 1978 after 6 years in the property industry. In 1982 he became Director of the Newbury office and soon after the London office of P&O Properties. He was responsible for most of the former Stock Conversion portfolio and was MD Chelsea Harbour Ltd for 10 years until its disposal, introducing the Interior Design Centre during that period. He was also a P&O Group Pension Fund Trustee for 15 years and has managed various companies in Europe.
Gary Brooks
Construction Director
Gary joined the P&O Group in April 1990 having trained and worked as a surveyor and project manager with a major national building contractor. He became a director of P&O Developments in 2000 and is responsible for the groups project management and construction related activities on all major development projects.
Graham Corser FRICS
Development Director
Graham qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1986 and joined P&O Group in 1989 having worked in consulting and contracting for a medium size commercial developer.
He has been involved in many of P&O's major development projects including a number of shopping centres, offices and mixed use residential schemes.
He was appointed a director of P&O Estates in August 2005 having held a similar position in various operational companies.
Ed Wilson MSc, FRICS
Director, Building Surveying, Health & Safety and Environment
Ed trained as a Chartered Building Surveyor and also holds an MSc in Project Management from the University of Reading.
After 19 years in the property industry, he joined the P&O Group in 1991 as a Senior Building Surveyor where he was responsible for overseeing day to day management of the investment portfolio building fabric maintenance, repair and renewal, Health, Safety and Environment matters, becoming a Director of P&O Properties in 2003.
He became a Director of P&O Estates in August 2005 and is responsible for all professional building surveying and Health, Safety and Environment matters.
